Ok , so it takes me like a month to come back and I find my entire web page in disarray… fortunately, I was able to get it back to normal, I think…

Anyways, hopefully everyone is doing well… The Olympics are going on and that’s pretty awesome. Congratulations to all the participants, it is a huge honor… In all honesty, it’s hard to see people who work their entire lives to get injured or mess up on a world stage… It’s almost impossible to fathom how hard these athletes have to train to get to this level. Playing high school sports is one thing… but like even college or pro sports they play every year…. These athletes train to do this only every 4 years!!?!

As the summer winds down, I’ve been able to check out a few of the summer movies… I will arrange it like this

Star Trek
Beyond > Ghostbusters
Answer the Call > Suicide Squad

Star Trek
Beyond… awesome movie, too bad it’s not doing that well. It’s got excitement, heart, humor… everything you can ask for in a movie…

Ghostbusters
Answer the Call… After the disappointing initial trailers and what have you, the show itself is fun. This movie is sucking, so I doubt there’ll be a sequel in the works, which is too bad… FYI, there is a post credit scene that would be a cool lead into a second movie… but oh well…

And Suicide Squad… It’s a fun watch and the soundtrack is awesome, but there’s not enough shine for all the characters to feel for anyone… aside from Harley and Deadshot… I’m sure we will see more of them later on…

In case you were wondering, no I am NOT playing Pokemon Go… and you shouldn’t either!!! hahahah!!!

Happy Fourth of July Everyone!!! But if you do celebrate it, know WHY we celebrate the holiday… seriously, I watched something today that showed a lot of young Americans who didn’t know what our independence day is about… it was horrifying…

But if you are reading this, I’m expecting you all know what it’s about because you are all smart, intelligent, and beautiful people! So for that, you all work hard and deserve the day off… but I will be working, so come by if you need it!

I’ve been meaning to blog recently because of the passing of many huge legends of our era. In recent weeks/months we’ve had many losses some lesser known, but impactful people like Chyna, Christina Grimmie, and Anton Yelchin… and then some big name greats like Alan Rickman, Prince, Gordie Howe, and Muhammed Ali. And then there was the shooting in Orlando… It’s been a crazy year and it’s only June…And then I heard one of my softball friend’s mom passes away recently as well… It’s caused me pause and just reflect on all of these things. Life is short and we gotta make the most of the time that we have… cliche as that sounds, it’s true.

That being said, congratulations to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in their victory over Golden State for the NBA Championship. It’s hard to imagine being one man to bring so much joy to one city… and to predict it no less… or at least calling his shot when he returned. Very few in this world have lived up to the hype like LeBron.

The streak had to end sometime… it started 15 minutes late and ended with the slam of my door…

Yeah, I’m guessing you’ll see a new 1 star yelp score in the not too distant future by another unsatified customer.

I guess I can’t blame him, he wasn’t in the right place at the appointment time so he ended up 15 minutes late to the office. And then when I told him to fill out the form, I didn’t tell him nice enough to do so, I didn’t want to bother him as he was filling out the form, I kept quiet… and I looked bored waiting for him as he half heartedly scribbled a few things down only to start texting someone (I’m guessing about how much of an asshole I am). I mean, it’s not like I don’t have another appointment after him or anything, he is the center of the universe. I tried to look busy and turn on the music… maybe Norah Jones pisses hm off!!! Honestly, maybe that was it because after saying he didn’t want to fill out some of the questions, he texted back another time and then he took the sheet out and said, “I’m good” and then left. I shouted, “What happened” but he walked away and slammed the door.

Forutnately, the client that followed this situation was awesome. And really, it’s been a LONG time since I’ve had one of these types…

Not all super hero movies can be like Captain America
Civil War (totally awesome movie by the way… stay for the 2 mid credit and end credit scenes) or Deadpool (lots of hype, really sweet)… sometimes you get some Guardians of the Galaxy (a complete and total surprise of how good it was), other times you get Iron Man 3 (good in parts, the 3rd act plot twist disappointed a bit)… but other times you get the Batman v. Superman
Dawn of Justice (unfounded hype, not the worst movie ever, just watch it with the lowest of expectations) or worse Fantastic Four… any of them, just steaming hot bags of turd…

… Well that was weird. I was trying to update the blog today but nothing showed up on the page… I had to use a different browser for it to “reappear”. Anyways, I will be out of the office this coming Saturday to MC one of my friend’s wedding. It’s my first time being the MC, so wish me luck!

I was able to catch up on some television this weekend. If you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know what Game of Thrones is, get on that before it starts up in April. You don’t wanna be that person who no one wants to talk to
) And then on Netflix, I binge watched the entire season of Daredevil. That’s another great show which you are fortunate to see in its entirety.

I got to see the movie Deadpool recently. If you do get a chance to, you should definitely check it out. It’s a funny movie, but it really does have a heart.

I’ve started to try and exercise more in recent days, but the rain hasn’t helped with that much… but oh well, I still gotta get out there and do it.

I watched the Grammy’s this past Monday. It was the usual… some interesting performances, some subtle catfighting between celebrities, some poingnant moments… No one really rememebers who won or lost, just who made the biggest noise… and I guess that was Kanye, but I don’t know for what. So whatevers…

Anyways…. get your peeps to come in!!!

Hello… it’s me… I was wondering after all these years if you’d like to meet…

Ok, enough Adele… That song is really stuck in my head as I’m sure it’s in yours.

So did you all watch the Super Bowl… Oh, can I say Super Bowl? The “Big Game”… Some thought it was interesting (which it was), but I thought it’s because it was a sloppy game. Denver came to play. Kudos to Peyton Manning for not necessarily losing the game for the Broncos, but I think the biggest loser is Cam Newton. No it wasn’t the interview, or having his worst game of the season, it was the lack of effort on his fumble on the last drive of the game.

Was he in a bad position to get it? Perhaps… Would he have been hit really hard if he dove for it… I’m pretty sure he would’ve been hit hard MULTIPLE times. But do you think Petyon Manning would’ve went for it? Yes… Or Tom Brady? Russell Wilson? Or any of the other Super Bowl winning QBs? You damn right they would… and that’s why they won Super Bowls. They’d be willing to give it all for that ring. Cam made a business decision to not go for the ball. Even if he dove and didn’t get it, I’d have respect for him. For him to stand there and watch it happen… that’s NOT what makes for a champion.

Aside from that, the commercials were meh… the Doritos one was funny and a couple others made me chuckle, but nothing infinietly memorable. And that halftime show? Meh… Beyonce and Bruno stole it from Coldplay… who I think really had no business doing it. I would’ve thought maybe an American act to headline the golden anniversary of the Super Bowl. Lady Gaga though was impressive albeit unrecognizable visually and tonally.

Well Valentine’s Day is coming up and you know what that means… yeah, nothing really… So if you are like me here’s what you do… Netflix and chill… and watch The New Girl and/or Jessica Jones. Two diametrically opposite types of shows, but both really interesting. And then after that, watch some documentaries like Jiro Dreams of Sushi and Somm!

I’ll try not to hurt myself by patting myself on the back too much… but yeah, I’m here again…

So as the usual, I was doing a massage at the office today and the phone rings… no message. It rings again… again no message… at third time, same thing… and then a fourth time, same same.

I was just wondering what goes through people’s minds when they keep calling. I understand they want to get a massage and they call… but not enough to leave a message. But they call again… and still not leave a message… But then after the third time, wouldn’t you just leave a message? It’s like people WANT to become frustrated with us… or maybe just with me. Believe me, I want to provide my massage services to you, but I can’t if you don’t leave a message. So perhaps, I will propose this… in the next few weeks, if people call and don’t leave messages, I will text them back to see if they want to make an appointment. Sounds, kinda weird, I know, but maybe these people are just shy! HAHAHA!!!

Speaking of people who call back a lot… there’s this number
#808 524-6111. It calls my office just about every other day. However, THEY leave a message… 3 seconds of silence. I have no idea who it is or what they want. It’s pretty irritating and borderline offensive. So if you or someone you know has that number
MAKE AN APPOINTMENT or STOP CALLING!!!! Oh yeah, and then there’s the yelp peeps… they’re back at it again… new person, same spiel… bleh… They should do it for free and THEN call me to get in with them

But oh well, it’s almost the weekend!!! Come in for massages if you need to!!!
