Hello everyone, I hope you guys have been able to shelter in place/ physically distance/ help our frontline workers/ not go crazy at home or whatever you have been doing in the past two months. The world has definitely changed in the last 8 weeks.

Early on in our shelter in place decree, I really did stay at home. Probably for the first ten days it was awesome, almost like a break coming back from college… but after that time period, like many of you I’m sure, you started to get antsy and restart our lives. With so much information out there, both positive and negative, I found myself going through many emotions, like frustration from not being able to do more, to sadness because of the immense loss of life, to anger at the government for not taking decisive action, and even apathy because sometimes days just seemed to just happen all over again. I’m sure many of you ran the gamut of emotions as well.

And so now, the time has come to slowly reopen businesses throughout the state of Hawaii, “non-essential” businesses can slowly become “essential”. The COVID-19 threat hasn’t really gone away, we are just trying to figure out how to deal with the microscopic elephant in the room. Am I open… not really… but kinda. And I’m sure you’re wondering what the hell that means… It means, I am available on a limited basis, once the state ok’s it. In addition to making the environment safe for you, I have to ensure my safety as well. As time goes by, we will be able to better understand how we can do business in lieu of the coronavirus.

In the meantime, if you need something to listen to, definitely check out the Ka Hale Ola Massage Podcasts… the link is in the directory. Like and subscibe!
